Open Banking in Cambodia

Cambodia is in the early planning stages for open banking under the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC). The country has been innovative in digital payments, launching the Bakong digital payment system which enables interoperable transactions across banks and payment service providers. Open banking development would build on this digital infrastructure, potentially extending API-based access to banking data alongside the existing payment interoperability framework.
